A family story, since 1921
It all began in Anjou, at the Moulin de Beau Rivage, where Jean Mary set up his first two hives. A century later, the house still cultivates the same craft: selecting the very best of the hive.

Jean Mary settles in Anjou, in the Loire Valley, and founds the house.

Beekeeping full time
He devotes himself entirely to his bees and sells his honey at local markets.

1,500 hives
His sons expand the estate and build a network of partner beekeepers across France.
- 2000
The 3rd generation takes over
Benoît Mary, the founder’s grandson, takes the helm of the family business.

Arrival in Réunion
Famille Mary joins the SODIREL selection and enters pharmacies across the island.
Committed to bees, the house supports French beekeeping through its “Merci pour les abeilles” programme.
